Under the masterful guidance of the chairmen – Mike Short, VP, Telefonica Europe/O2 and Tim Jefferson, Consultant,  The Human Chain – the delegates at the Global Messaging Congress 2010 on the 22-23 June in London participated in several vigorous debates around topics including commoditisation, personalisation of the messaging experience and monetizing existing market opportunities. The conclusion was: Messaging Is Not Dead! There are plenty of opportunities still out there – particularly in  the growth markets – providing a little imagination and innovation is employed.

Here at Informa, we plan to take this lesson to heart.  Plans for an innovative and imaginative 2011 Congress are already under way –  watch this space!’
