Jan Mahlstedt
Head of IP Comms, Vodafone Internet Services

Jan Mahlstedt has extensive experience in the mobile industry. He has been working with telecommunications operators as a senior product manager for over seven years. At Vodafone D2 Germany, Jan is head of ip communications within the Vodafone Internet Services unit, being responsible for mobile consumer messaging and social networking services such as email, instant messaging and zyb. Previously Jan worked as a product manager at E-Plus in Germany responsible for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and other office solutions.

Earlier in his career, Jan worked at Germany's largest public bank, WestLB. He held several positions including one as a financial analyst for telecommunications and technology. He received a diploma as Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst (CEFA).

Jan went to university in the U.S. and Germany and holds a degree in Business Engineering.
