Michael O’Brien

Michael O’Brien was appointed vice president of business development in 2007. Previously he had served as vice president of marketing since August 2001 and had been responsible for product management and business development for all products and services globally. Before his appointment to vice president, Mike served in a number of other positions in the company, including assistant vice president of marketing from November 2000 to August 2001 and marketing director for North American wireless from June 1999 to November 2000. From January to June 1999, he worked as an independent consultant. He also served as director of operations at GE LogistiCom, a satellite communications business. Prior to that, Mike was a product manager responsible for network monitoring and wireless data products. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Virginia.
