Mohammad bin Jaffer Al Najwani
Born and brought up in the beautiful yet tough neighborhood of Muscat, the Capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Mohammed Najwani was found to be a very valuable asset in the service industry that employers had attracted him during his colleague education. After College, Mohammed joined different jobs in Muscat and Dubai to finally land in Nawras, the leading Telecommunication Services Provider in Oman. In Nawras, he took the fast lane very quickly becoming the Process Management Specialist where he owned the most popular knowledgebase companywide and defined a lot of the processes of the startup mobile operator which the successful front line Customer Support team of Nawras follows today. In that capacity, Mohammed took a leading role in the pioneering launch of the 3G services in Oman being the Customer Experience Leader of the project.
Today, Mohammed is the Marketing Manager for Value Added Services (VAS) in Nawras where he leads VAS projects from end to end and looks after the complete Product Lifecycle of various VAS and content services . His contribution saw the launch of many successful services including SMS Parking, Oman Air SMS Booking & the SMS services of Ministry of Civil Services and Muscat Municipality. When launched, these services gave the competitive edge and leadership to Nawras in the highly competitive telecommunications market of Oman. Besides all of this, Mohammed also plays a major PR role by maintaining strong relationships with the Government Sector of Oman to ensure that Nawras is the exclusive or first one to satisfy their needs when it comes to offering Public VAS. Through his launch events, he also plays a major part in keeping Nawras on the spot light in local Media, News and events.
Today, Mohammed is simply a well rounded Marketing expert with specializing in Telecommunication Brand and Sub-Brand Management. Knowing that all this is achieved in the young age of 27, one can only see a very bright future for him.
