Paulo Simões
Senior Service Researcher - Service and Content Department, TMN

Paulo Simões is the senior service researcher at TMNs Service and Content Department. He is, amongst others designing TMN’s Messaging architecture and proposing technological roadmaps for messaging services. Over the past seven years he has been responsible for introducing new messaging services and functionalities, such as SMS Interoperability, MMS, PTT, IM and Mobile Email. More recently he has been responsible for the world first VideoMail service. His current functions in the messaging area centre around RCS, PUSH oriented services, Adaptive Messaging, PRESENCE, Mobile Anti-Abuse and the impact of IMS on Messaging.

Paulo Simões started at TMN twelve years ago as Product Manager for Data Services and later as Project Manager in the same area. Before being invited to join TMN he acquired several years of experience in market orientated approaches, though activities for several multinational companies in Spain and Portugal. Paulo was born in Germany, studied Chemical Engineering and has Master Sc. Degrees in Biotechnology and Genetics.
