Thibaud Mienville - France Telecom Orange, France

Thibaud Mienville is employed by France Telecom Orange since 2001, and has an all-round knowledge and expertise in the field of multimedia services, terminal platforms, standards strategy and participation, research and development.

Thibaud has been part of Multimedia Services standardisation since 2006 in FT/Orange’s Corporate CTO Office.

In his role of Multimedia Services and Device standardisation Manager, Thibaud is responsible for FT/Orange’s standardisation and technical strategy for multimedia services and terminal platforms (LiMO, JCP). Hence, he is actively contributing to FT/Orange’s implementation of IMS based services, and terminal platform definitions.

He is also directly participating to several international standards organisations such as the Open Mobile Alliance and GSMA (e.g. in Rich Communication Suite Initiative as primary Orange representative in RCS Technology Group). He has a number of patent applications in his field of expertise.

As Senior Expert, Thibaud was previously working in France Telecom’s research and development department on multimedia messaging services, for both network and device aspects.

Thibaud is an electrical and computer science engineer, and graduated from the Supelec engineering school in France.
