Wouda du Plessis joined MTN in 2002 as M-commerce Applications Manager and then moved to Messaging.  She was part of the MMS & IM design and implementation teams responsible for motivation, product development & implementation.  She is now Senior Manager: Value Added Services in the product division at MTN and is responsible for the Value Added Services Portfolio encompassing Messaging, Voicemail, IM, USSD and IVR.

Before MTN, Wouda worked in the electronic banking industry and as a telecoms consultant doing ad hoc research into the mobile industry trends and industry. 

Wouda is married with two small daughters.  Her hobbies include reading, travelling and entertaining.
